if you are like me and don't want even more arm pump after a day of riding, ditch the hand spray bottle and get a garden sprayer... way less pumping, and it holds a crap ton of "precleaner" mix. AND. no more arm pump :)

[...] …That brings us to Vanson. Handmade in Massachusetts and built for the zombie apocalypse. Here’s our review of their supermoto suit. In full disclosure we’re proud to announce Vanson as a sponsor, but as always with our reviews, we’ll give it to you straight. Build quality: Here’s what vanson is known for. Crash, crash, and crash some more and the vanson will be there for you. If there’s a better made suit, I haven’t seen it. There’s a crooked stitch here and there, just enough to remind you that it’s handmade, read more here [...]

Excellent blog post.
Travis Pastrana recently posted online a picture of him and his wife going for a Christmas Day ride to the beach.
Pictured here:

Just as Rossi's WR450 supermoto is a slight exception to the rule, so is Guy Martin's turbo Suzuki. Pictured here:

I'd like to see more examples if anyone has them.

Thanks for the comparison Brian!

I ran the Conti's on my DR650 this past year in the local RaceSMX series and really liked the feel. You are correct about the short life. I ride my DR on the street at least once a week, and did 3 track days and 7 races this year, and went through 2 sets. Works out to about 500 miles per set.

I just put some Road 3's on for the off season, but plan on going to the Pilot Powers when the next season starts.

Thanks again for your writeup!

Thanks. Honestly Socal Supermoto is a one man show doing private training, dmv test bike, and trackday school and all the wrenching, promotion, and scheduling that goes along with it. Every once in a while when I have idea I'll throw a quick blog post up, but for the most part I don't have time to put together the site I'd like to. Too busy with the nuts and bolts (literally) of the biz.

I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
